4 Collaborative Labs Offered for Fall 2012

There will be 4 collaborative research labs offered in the fall of 2012:

For students who have not completed a collaborative research lab AND have completed at least PY 111 (General Psychology), sign up for PY 299 -- the sections being offered are listed below:

Student Motivation Lab (Section A)

Exploring the effects of motivational factors (self efficacy, perceived obstacles, feelings of control) on student performance. Contact Dr. Dan Bucknam at dbucknam@smumn.edu for more information.

Body Image Lab (Section B)

Testing factors related to precursors to and outcomes related to body image. Contact Dr. Beth Seebach at eseebach@smumn.edu for more information.

Alcohol Research Lab (Section C)

Studying predictors and outcomes related to alcohol use. Contact Dr. Beth Seebach at eseebach@smumn.edu for more information.

Terror Management Lab (Section D)

This lab will investigate how individuals’ behaviors, perceptions, and judgments are affected by reminders of mortality. Contact Dr. Mario Casa de Calvo at mcasadec@smumn.edu for more information.
